The company has just rolled out an update that will allow users to share any types of files and documents. The reason why we are considering this feature as a game changing is that this will make our life easier. You don’t need to open any cloud platform or your computer to share files with your friend because WhatsApp will let you send any kind of file on the platform. Previously, WhatsApp share was restricted to file formats that the mobile platform can read. Now, users can send any kind of files up to 100MB which is more than plenty for sharing large documents on the go. Not only these, WhatsApp latest update also organizes photos in a gallery. Suppose, if the user is sending more than five photos at once, the chat window will show only three photos along with the number of total photos. This makes the chat window look a lot cleaner. The latest update is rolling out for both iOS and Android. So, make sure you update the WhatsApp app by going through Google Play Store or App Store. Yes, now the status will be WhatsApp’s Insta Stories! After Instagram receives a feature that brings us back to what Snapchat offers, now it’s WhatsApp’s turn. A tweet posted by @WABetaInfo reveals that in the next version for iOS there will be a new feature called “Status.” This new feature will allow you to share photos and videos with a duration of 24 hours. Then, as in the Instagram Stories, they disappear.
