From past few months, we have seen the new and amazing features introduced by the WhatsApp. Over the last few weeks, we have introduced some of the WhatsApp’s new features and even a few tips on how to get the most out of it. During these eight years of existence, WhatsApp has grown considerably and there are several features that have been made available to users. In February of this year, the functionality “Status” was updated but only now reached the Web version.
How to use this new feature?
Eight years ago, in February 2009, when WhatsApp began to be developed, a feature was created that allowed users to tell their contacts what their status was at that moment. At the beginning of the year WhatsApp renewed this functionality and now it is possible to share images and videos with your contacts in a simple and safe way. To view the status of your contacts in the Web version, simply you have to select the three-ringed circle icon in the upper side. Then our own status is presented and also the status of the person you selected. According to the official information, status updates are encrypted end-to-end and disappear just after 24 hours.
