On 12th of April, 2016, Facebook should present “Bot Store” at its F8 conference, and some even believe that “Bot Store” is much more revolutionary than the App Store launched nearly eight years ago by Apple and since copied by all.

Why it so Revolutionary?

According to the TechCrunch, only 6 million people owned an Apple iPhone at the time when Apple launched its own App Store. But, if Facebook confirms “Bot Store” within a few weeks, then 800 million of active users of the social network will be affected in just one go. That’s why many messaging applications have already taken the dive; such as, “Kik, Slack, Telegram and the most advanced, WeChat.

What is the purpose of this “Bot Store”?

Various brands can offer within their own applications in which Messenger robot designed to interact with customers. Such as, you can ask the bot about any flight information to buy or book tickets or to make a bank transfer, etc. Moreover, this revolutionary change will really simplify online services. Ted Livingston, the founder of the messaging application Kik, gives a clear example and here it is “He joined his friends at a baseball game. Once seated, he realizes he is the only who does not have a beer. He had to get up, queue before getting his, thus missing two home runs. According to him, if the stadium had deployed a bot service, all he would have to do, would have been to scan a QR code, asking the bot for two Budweisers and confirm the payment.” A much simpler process with a new concept. In August 2015, Facebook announced, “M” as his own personal assistant, to purchase items, book a restaurant or to plan a trip and “M” is the only one that uses the interface of a messaging service to interact with the user. In January, Facebook was making available its “Chat SDK,” allowing third-party developers to develop bots dedicated to Messenger Application.
